Fingers stroked a teasing trail across Kevin’s bare back. It felt amazing. He hummed and lifted his ass toward the touch. “Mm. Obo.”

Owen’s arm tightened around Kevin’s hips, pulling him closer to the solid body at his side. “Mmph. Go ’way.”

Owen said some strange things in his sleep sometimes, but he’d never told Kevin to go away before. Especially when his other hand continued to trace up and down Kevin’s spine.

Kevin frowned. Cracked one eye open. Andy grinned at him from inches away. “Good morning, sweetheart.”

Groaning, Kevin rubbed a hand over his face. “Jesus Christ, Andy.”

“Why won’t you go away?” Owen grumbled, curling tighter against Kevin. “What time’s it anyway?”

“Nine o’clock.” Andy stood and stretched, exposing an expanse of flat brown abs between the ragged edge of his cut-off shirt and the waistband of his shorts. “Sergio made crepes. Y’all better haul your lazy butts out of bed if you want any.” He leaned over to peck Owen’s cheek. “Don’t worry, they’re diabetic friendly. Whole wheat, fresh fruit, sugar-free syrup.” Pushing back, he bounced off the bed and out the door. “C’mon, guys, you don’t want to miss out. My man’s an awesome cook.”

Owen sighed. “Damn, that sounds good.”

Laughing, Kevin turned in Owen’s arms and kissed him. “Well, Andy’s right. Sergio makes amazing crepes. Let’s get dressed and go get some, huh?”

“Okay.” Owen cupped Kevin’s cheek in one big hand, the expression on his face at once warm and intense. “Look, Kev, I know you weren’t planning to, but…” He bit his lip in the way Kevin could never resist. “Will you come to the shop with me today?”

“Sure. You know I love the shop.” It was true. Kevin had come to love helping Mitch, Winnie and Owen at the antique store. He’d even learned to work the register. Thank God he’d switched weekends off with Jackie so she could go to a friend’s wedding next week, or he’d have missed out today. Digging his hand into Owen’s hair, he hauled him close for a proper Sunday-morning-in-bed kiss. “Mmmm. Okay, either we get up right now and go get breakfast, or we stay here and fuck.”

Owen’s eyes narrowed. “That is so unfair. You know I have to eat in the morning.”

“Yeah. I know.” Kevin snuggled close. Kissed the remains of last night’s sweat from Owen’s throat. “I’m not in the mood for a quickie, and that’s all we’d have time for. You need to be at work in an hour and a half. We can pick this up again after we leave the shop.”

“Better than not getting any today, I guess.” Owen laughed when Kevin smacked his ass. He stroked Kevin’s face, thumb caressing the corner of his mouth. “Can you come stay with me tonight? I promise to make sure you get up in time for class in the morning.”

Kevin didn’t even have to think about it. “Of course I’ll stay.”

Owen smiled, the sweet, unguarded smile that lit up the whole world and made Kevin feel as though gravity had temporarily lost its hold on him.
